He also spent nearly a decade as a senior executive at Bravo, overseeing the development of iconic reality television franchises.

Early Life and Education

Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Cohen attended Clayton High School before pursuing higher education at Boston University. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in broadcast journalism in 1990. During his university studies, he wrote for the student newspaper, The Daily Free Press, and completed an internship at CBS News. Bravo Executive and TV Host

In 2004, Cohen joined Bravo as vice president of original programming and was later promoted to executive vice president of development and talent. In these roles, he helped develop and supervise hit reality series such as The Real Housewives franchise, Top Chef, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, and Project Runway. Radio, Books, and Media Ventures

Expanding his career across platforms, Cohen launched Radio Andy on SiriusXM in 2015, curating pop culture content and hosting live talk broadcasts. He is also a New York Times best-selling author who has penned several popular memoirs, including Most Talkative, The Andy Cohen Diaries, and The Daddy Diaries. Beyond his solo projects, Cohen regularly co-hosts high-profile television events, such as CNN's annual New Year's Eve Live coverage alongside news anchor Anderson Cooper.

Personal Life

Based in New York City, Cohen made broadcast history as the first openly gay host of an American late-night talk show.
