Jaime Lorente

Jaime Lorente López is a Spanish actor who gained widespread recognition for portraying the character Denver in the television series Money Heist.

Born on December 12, 1991, Lorente pursued formal training in the performing arts. He earned a degree in Dramatic Art from the Superior School of Dramatic Art of Murcia (ESAD Murcia) and later completed a master's degree in advanced studies at the UNIR in Logroño.

Lorente began his acting career on the stage, performing in theatrical productions such as El público, La vengadora de las mujeres, El secreto a voces, and De fuera vendrá. His performance in the stage play Equus earned him the Best Actor Award at the inaugural María Jesús Sirvent Awards.

In 2016, he transitioned to television screen acting by landing the role of Elías Mato in the Antena 3 series El secreto de Puente Viejo. His major breakthrough came in 2017 when he joined the main cast of Money Heist as Denver. His performance in the hit show earned him a nomination for Best Supporting Actor on Television from the Spanish Actors Union.

Following his breakthrough, Lorente continued to secure prominent roles in major television projects. In 2018, he played the character Nano in the Netflix original series Élite. Between 2020 and 2021, he starred as the Castilian knight Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar in the Amazon Prime Video historical drama series El Cid.

Beyond his acting work, Lorente has ventured into literature and music. He authored a poetry collection titled A propósito de tu boca, featuring poems he began writing during his high school years. In 2022, he expanded his artistic endeavors into the music industry by releasing his debut extended play, La noche.

Looking toward future projects, it was reported in August 2025 that Lorente was preparing to make his feature film directorial debut with a project titled The Bad Son, with production scheduled to start later that year.
