Hope Dworaczyk Smith

Hope Dworaczyk Smith is an American entrepreneur, model, and reality television personality. She is best known as the founder and chief executive officer of the skincare brand MUTHA, as well as for her work in modeling and television. Among her media projects, she served as the host and co-producer of the program Inside Fashion.

Smith was born on November 21, 1984, and raised in Port Lavaca, Texas. She is of Polish descent through her father and Mexican descent through her mother. She graduated from high school at the age of 16.

Her modeling career began at age 16 after competing in the Miss Texas Teen USA competition. She subsequently signed with Wilhelmina Models, going on to model for high-profile fashion houses. Her runway work includes shows for Balenciaga, Robert Rodriguez, Lana Fuchs, Leila Rose, Abaete, Joanna Mastroianni, Rosa Cha, XOXO, and Miss Sixty. Smith also completed a world tour for Versace with stops in Tokyo, Milan, London, and New York City, and was featured in print campaigns for brands such as Patek Philippe and Elie Saab.

In April 2009, Smith appeared on the cover of Playboy magazine alongside Seth Rogen, featuring a centerfold pictorial photographed by Stephen Wayda. She was later selected as the magazine's 2010 Playmate of the Year, appearing in the June 2010 issue with a 3-D fold-out image.

Smith expanded her career into television and entrepreneurship. She hosted and co-produced Inside Fashion in Canada on the E! channel. In 2005, after earning an aesthetician license, she opened Oasis Med Spa in Houston, Texas, which she sold in 2007. In spring 2011, she was a contestant on Celebrity Apprentice, winning $40,000 for the charity Best Buddies International as a project manager. She also participated in the Fox dating game show The Choice in 2012.

As the founder and CEO of the skincare company MUTHA, Smith built a brand projected to net $3 million in 2021. As of 2020, the company donated five percent of sales to maternal care programs in regions with high maternal mortality rates. In March 2022, she published the book Your Body is Magic, sharing her pregnancy and birth experiences along with advice for pregnant and postpartum women.

On July 25, 2015, Smith married Robert F. Smith, the founder of Vista Equity Partners. The couple has four children: two sons, Hendrix Robert Smith and Legend Robert Smith, born in 2014 and 2016, and twin daughters, Zuri and Zya, born via surrogate in 2020. Smith has also worked with charitable organizations such as International Medical Corps, Together We Rise, and Unlikely Heroes.
