Hailey Baldwin

Hailey Rhode Bieber (née Baldwin) is an American model, socialite, media personality, and businesswoman. Born in Tucson, Arizona, on November 22, 1996, she is the daughter of graphic designer Kennya Deodato and actor Stephen Baldwin, as well as the granddaughter of Brazilian musician Eumir Deodato. Raised as an evangelical Christian, she trained as a classical ballet dancer for 12 years until stopping at age 16, when she was discovered and began pursuing a career in modeling.

Bieber initially signed with Ford Models, debuting on the runway in October 2014 for Topshop and Sonia Rykiel, and starring in her first commercial campaign for French Connection that winter. Throughout 2015, she appeared in editorials for publications including American Vogue, Teen Vogue, Miss Vogue, and W, and secured her first magazine cover for Jalouse alongside Lucky Blue Smith. During this period, she also appeared in ad campaigns and runway shows for fashion labels such as Ralph Lauren, Philipp Plein, and Tommy Hilfiger.

In March 2016, Bieber signed with IMG Models and appeared on covers for international editions of Marie Claire, Harper's Bazaar, and Elle. She walked in major fashion weeks across New York, London, Milan, and Paris for brands including Moschino, Dolce & Gabbana, Elie Saab, Tory Burch, and Jeremy Scott. Her endorsement and advertising work expanded through campaigns with Guess, UGG, Karl Lagerfeld, Prabal Gurung Sport, and Sass & Bide. Beyond traditional modeling, Bieber engaged in product design partnerships with brands such as The Daily Edited, Public Desire, and ModelCo. On June 15, 2022, she launched her skincare brand, Rhode, serving as its founder and chief creative officer. Rhode generated $212 million in total sales for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025. Cosmetics company e.l.f. later announced an agreement to acquire Rhode in a $1 billion deal, with Bieber continuing as chief creative officer, head of innovation, and strategic beauty advisor.

Bieber has also worked in television and media. After appearing in the 2005 documentary Livin It: Unusual Suspects and a 2009 episode of Saturday Night Live, she featured in music videos for Cody Simpson and Baptiste Giabiconi. She segment-hosted at the 2015 MTV Europe Music Awards and co-hosted the 2016 iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards. Beginning in May 2017, she co-hosted the TBS rap battle competition show Drop the Mic alongside rapper Method Man.

In her personal life, Bieber married singer Justin Bieber, and the couple announced the birth of their son in August 2024. She primarily resides in La Quinta, California. In March 2022, she was hospitalized for a transient ischemic attack caused by a heart defect, which was repaired via surgery. Politically active, Bieber endorsed Joe Biden in the 2020 election and publicly advocates for reproductive rights.
