In 2012, she moved to Fox Sports, where she eventually became the lead sideline reporter for the network's NFL broadcasting team. Outside of sports media, Andrews has hosted several entertainment programs, notably serving as a co-host on ABC's Dancing with the Stars from 2014 to 2019.
Andrews was born in Lewiston, Maine, to Paula Andrews, a teacher, and Steven Andrews, an investigative broadcast journalist. Her family moved to San Antonio, Texas, when she was five, and 18 months later relocated to Valrico, Florida. She attended Bloomingdale High School, where she participated in dance team, student government, and the National Honor Society. She pursued higher education at the University of Florida, graduating in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in telecommunications, during which time she was a member of the Florida Gators Dazzlers dance team and the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.
She began her media career in 2000 as a freelance reporter for Fox Sports Florida. From 2001 to 2002, she reported on the Tampa Bay Lightning for Sunshine Network, and from 2002 to 2004, she covered Atlanta sports teams for Turner South. Andrews joined ESPN in April 2004, covering hockey, college football, college basketball, Major League Baseball, and the Scripps National Spelling Bee. She also worked as a correspondent for Good Morning America and hosted College GameDay on ESPNU.
In June 2012, Andrews transitioned to Fox Sports as the initial studio host for Fox College Football. She contributed to Fox NFL Sunday, reported on major events like the World Series and the Daytona 500, and guest-hosted studio shows on Fox Sports 1. In 2014, she replaced Pam Oliver as the sideline reporter for Fox's lead NFL broadcasting crew, later signing an exclusive contract with the network's NFL team in 2016.
Alongside her sports broadcasting, Andrews expanded into entertainment television. In 2010, she placed third on season ten of Dancing with the Stars, later returning to co-host the show alongside Tom Bergeron from season 18 through season 28. She co-hosted the CMT Music Awards in 2015 and 2016, launched the Calm Down podcast with Charissa Thompson in 2021, and co-hosted the game show 99 to Beat with Ken Jeong in 2025.
In her personal life, Andrews married professional hockey player Jarret Stoll in June 2017, and the couple had a son via surrogacy in July 2023. Following a cervical cancer diagnosis in September 2016 and subsequent successful surgeries, she partnered with health company Hologic on a preventative health campaign. Her commercial endeavors include brand partnerships with Kraft Foods, StubHub, CoverGirl, Orangetheory Fitness, and Fanatics, as well as launching her women's sports apparel line, WEAR, in 2019.
In 2008, Andrews was secretly filmed in her hotel rooms by a stalker named Michael David Barrett, who posted a video online in 2009. Barrett was arrested, pleaded guilty to interstate stalking, and received a prison sentence. Andrews pursued civil legal action against Barrett and hotel entities for negligence and invasion of privacy, leading to a $55 million jury verdict in her favor in 2016.
