Dylan Penn

Dylan Frances Penn is an American model and actress born on April 13, 1991, in Los Angeles, California. She is the daughter of actor-director Sean Penn and actress Robin Wright. Penn was raised in Ross, a town located in Marin County, California, alongside her younger brother, Hopper Jack. Her ancestral background includes Russian-Jewish, Lithuanian-Jewish, Irish, and Italian heritage.

Penn attended Marin Academy and later enrolled at the University of Southern California, which she left after one semester. She subsequently spent time living in New York City. Prior to entering the modeling industry, Penn worked a variety of jobs, including delivering pizzas, waitressing, working as a restaurant hostess, interning at an advertising agency, and working as a freelance screenplay editor.

Penn began her modeling career in 2013 by appearing in billboard campaigns for Gap. Late that year and into early 2014, she was featured in publications such as GQ, W, and Elle. In April 2014, Penn appeared on a partially nude cover and interior layout photographed by Tony Duran for the magazine treats!. Shortly after the publication of the issue, she signed a modeling representation contract with Premier Model Management in the United Kingdom.

Over the course of her modeling career, Penn appeared on magazine covers including L'Officiel in December 2014 and Asos in August 2015. She participated in a short film titled Rock Roll Ride for shoe designer Stuart Weitzman alongside Poppy Delevingne for Paris Fashion Week. In January 2016, Penn and her brother Hopper appeared in their first joint fashion modeling campaign, which included media appearances at Milan Fashion Week. Penn has also appeared in music media, including the video for the Nick Jonas song "Chains."

Penn transitioned into acting with her feature film debut in the 2015 horror movie Condemned. She subsequently appeared in the 2016 film Elvis & Nixon. In 2021, she co-starred alongside her father in the film Flag Day, which he also directed. Penn's work has earned recognition in media rankings, including placements on annual lists compiled by Maxim and AskMen.com in 2014.
