Deborah Secco

Deborah Fialho Secco, born on November 26, 1979, is a Brazilian actress and model. Raised in a middle-class family by her mother, Sílvia Regina Fialho, and her father, Ricardo Secco, she grew up alongside two siblings. She began her career in entertainment at a young age, making her television advertising debut at eight years old, taking the stage in her first theatrical spectacle at ten, and appearing in her first soap opera on Rede Globo at eleven.

During her early career, Secco focused heavily on stage productions, earning a nomination for the Coca-Cola Theater Award for her role in Sapatinhos Vermelhos. Her breakthrough arrived in 1994 when she starred as Carol in the TV Cultura series Confissões de Adolescente, a role that brought her widespread recognition and the APCA Award for Breakthrough Actress. Following this success, she returned to Rede Globo under an exclusive contract, appearing in prominent television series such as A Próxima Vítima, Vira-Lata, Zazá, and Era uma Vez....

Throughout the 2000s, Secco established herself as a prominent television actress with a succession of high-profile roles. She played her first villain, Íris, in Laços de Família in 2000, followed by her first lead role in A Padroeira in 2001. She subsequently starred in hit productions including O Beijo do Vampiro, Celebridade, América, Pé na Jaca, and A Favorita. In cinema, she portrayed Moema in Caramuru - A Invenção do Brasil. Alongside her acting work, she established herself in modeling, appearing on magazine covers and serving as a commercial figure for brand campaigns such as Scala.

In 2011, Secco achieved further acclaim for her portrayal of the title character in the film Bruna Surfistinha, for which she earned multiple acting awards, as well as her role as Natalie Lamour in the television series Insensato Coração. Her career continued with notable film roles, including portraying Judite in Boa Sorte and appearing in Estrada do Diabo, alongside TV projects such as Boogie Oogie, Malhação, Segundo Sol, and Salve-se Quem Puder. Secco's personal life has included marriages to director Rogério Gomes, soccer player Roger Flores, and Hugo Moura, with whom she has a daughter, Maria Flor, born in December 2015. In September 2022, she publicly stated that she is bisexual. Outside her artistic endeavors, she and her family were named in a 2010 administrative impropriety complaint regarding public funds, in which her defense maintained that her father used family bank accounts without their consent.
