Chris Eubank Jr.

Christopher Livingstone Eubank Jr. is a British professional boxer born on 18 September 1989. The son of former two-division world champion Chris Eubank, he has achieved success across multiple weight divisions. Eubank Jr. secured the International Boxing Organization middleweight championship in 2024, having previously held the organization's super-middleweight belt twice between 2017 and 2019. He also claimed the World Boxing Association interim middleweight title on two occasions between 2015 and 2021, and won the British middleweight title in 2016. His initial bout against Conor Benn earned Fight of the Year honors from several major boxing publications and networks.

Born in Hove, East Sussex, to parents Chris Eubank and Karron Suzanne Stephen-Martin, Eubank Jr. spent his youth attending Brighton College, Shoreham College, and Spring Valley High School in Las Vegas. As a teenager, he appeared alongside his father on the reality television program At Home with the Eubanks. At age 16, he and his brother Sebastian relocated to the United States under the care of guardian Irene Hutton through a paper adoption designed to grant them dual citizenship and foster their athletic ambitions.

Eubank Jr. launched his amateur boxing career in 2007. In his sixth amateur bout, he captured the Nevada State Amateur Golden Gloves title at 165 pounds, subsequently winning the Western States Amateur Golden Gloves championship in his eighth bout. He went on to compete in the 2008 National Golden Gloves tournament, posting a 1–1 record, before concluding his amateur career with an overall record of 24 wins and 2 losses.

Turning professional in 2011 under promoter Mick Hennessy, Eubank Jr. was trained by Ronnie Davies and mentored by his father. He accumulated 18 consecutive victories, including 13 knockouts, before signing a broadcast deal with BoxNation in early 2014. Over the following months, he earned stoppage victories against Alistair Warren, Sandor Micsko, Robert Swierzbinkski, Štěpán Horváth, Ivan Jukić, and Omar Siala.

In November 2014, Eubank Jr. suffered his first professional defeat in a split-decision loss to Billy Joe Saunders. He bounced back in February 2015 by defeating Dmitry Chudinov via twelfth-round stoppage to win the WBA interim middleweight championship. After joining Matchroom Sport, he successfully defended the belt against Tony Jeter but was subsequently stripped due to inactivity. He later secured a stoppage win over Gary O'Sullivan and captured the British middleweight title by defeating Nick Blackwell in March 2016, followed by a successful defense against Tom Doran.

Eubank Jr. transitioned to the super-middleweight division in early 2017, capturing the IBO super-middleweight title with a tenth-round stoppage of Renold Quinlan. In July 2017, he successfully retained his belt by outpointing former multi-division champion Arthur Abraham in a twelve-round unanimous decision, securing a spot in the World Boxing Super Series.
