Benedetta Porcaroli

Benedetta Porcaroli is an Italian performer born on June 11, 1998, in Rome, Italy. She gained widespread international recognition for her starring role as Chiara Altieri in the Netflix adolescent drama series Baby, which aired from 2018 to 2020.

Porcaroli grew up in Rome alongside a younger brother, Guglielmo. For her early education, she attended the liceo classico Mamiani di Roma. Following her secondary studies, she pursued higher education in philosophy at the University of Rome.

Her professional television career began with her debut on the Rai 1 network series Tutto può succedere, running from 2015 to 2018, in which she portrayed the character Federica Ferraro. This early recurring television role helped establish her presence in the Italian acting industry.

Building upon her television work, Porcaroli transitioned into feature films. She appeared in the drama 18 Presents in 2020 and took on a role in the 2021 drama film The Catholic School. Her film work expanded to diverse genres, including a role in the comedy-drama Amanda and an appearance in the 2024 horror film Immaculate.

In addition to her feature film roles, Porcaroli secured a main cast position as a series regular in the 2025 historical drama miniseries The Leopard. That same year, she starred in the film The Kidnapping of Arabella, earning major industry recognition when she received the Orizzonti award for Best Actress at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival for her work in the project.

In her personal life, Porcaroli was previously in a relationship with Italian actor and director Michele Alhaique between 2018 and 2021. Beginning in 2021, she entered a relationship with Italian actor and producer Riccardo Scamarcio.
