Zach Cherry is an American actor and comedian known for his work across television series, feature films, and animated productions. He is best recognized for portraying Dylan George on the Apple TV drama series Severance and Woody Thomas on the Amazon Prime series Fallout, as well as his recurring character Klev in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Cherry was born on November 1, 1987, in Trenton, New Jersey. He spent his early life in the region and attended Princeton Day School. He later completed his higher education at Amherst College.

In 2011, Cherry began taking improv comedy lessons. His involvement in live performance led to his placement on a house team at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York in 2017, establishing his foundation as a comedic performer.

Cherry transitioned into screen acting with a variety of television appearances in the late 2010s. From 2017 to 2019, he played Kevin, the manager to Pete Holmes's character, on the series Crashing. In 2018, he portrayed bookstore clerk Ethan Russell in the first season of Netflix's You and appeared as Norman on I Feel Bad. He was also cast as the voice of Wolf on FOX's Duncanville and took minor roles in the series Succession and Living with Yourself.

Alongside his television work, Cherry made multiple appearances in Marvel Studios projects playing the minor character Klev. He appeared in this role in the films Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017 and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings in 2021. He later voiced the character for the 2025 animated series Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.

Cherry secured a major lead role in 2020 when he was cast as Dylan George on the Apple TV series Severance. His performance on the ongoing show brought significant industry recognition, culminating in a 2025 Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.

In addition to scripted roles, Cherry entered reality television hosting. In August 2022, it was announced that he and actress Ellie Kemper would present the sixth season of The Great American Baking Show, an adaptation of The Great British Bake Off streaming on The Roku Channel. He continued as host for the seventh season in 2024, co-hosting with Casey Wilson.

Cherry resides in Brooklyn with his wife, Anabella, an ESL teacher, and their rescue dog. He is an active gamer and formerly adhered to a vegetarian diet, later announcing on the Doughboys podcast that he was no longer a vegetarian.
