Tyler Cameron

Tyler Cameron is an American television personality, model, and general contractor. Born on January 31, 1993, he gained national media attention as a contestant on television. Outside of television, he works professionally as a licensed contractor and model.

Cameron was raised in Jupiter, Florida, alongside his two younger brothers by their parents, Jeff Cameron and Andrea Hermann Cameron. During the Great Recession, his family faced financial difficulties that led to the loss of their home and the divorce of his parents. He attended Jupiter Community High School before enrolling at Wake Forest University, where he played as a backup quarterback for the football team. After completing his bachelor's degree, he earned a Master of Business Administration from the Florida Atlantic University College of Business in 2018.

Initially planning a career in professional football, Cameron was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Baltimore Ravens. However, a shoulder injury forced him to end his football career. He began modeling during his college years after being discovered on Instagram, eventually signing modeling contracts with Soul Artist Management in New York City and Next Management Miami.

In 2019, Cameron gained nationwide prominence after being cast in season fifteen of The Bachelorette, starring Hannah Brown. Listed as a general contractor on the show, he finished as the runner-up after being eliminated in the finale episode filmed in Crete. During his time on the show, he drew significant media coverage for his defense of Brown against alleged sexism from other contestants.

Following his appearance on reality television, Cameron officially obtained his building contractor license in December 2019. In 2020, following the passing of his mother, he moved back to Jupiter, Florida, to start a home construction and renovation business.

In 2024, Cameron starred in the Amazon Prime hybrid reality-docuseries Going Home with Tyler Cameron. The series documents his construction business and the renovation of his mother's house. In July 2025, the program received a nomination for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Instructional/How-To Program.
