Sui He

Sui He is a Chinese fashion model and actress born on September 23, 1989, in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, China. Before entering the fashion industry, she spent seven years as a swimmer on her city's swim team. She began her modeling path at age 17 during her junior year of high school after winning a domestic modeling competition, which led to a contract with Beijing-based agency Bentley Culture Development Co.

Her runway debut took place during the Spring/Summer 2011 season at the Love, Sex, and Money presentation. Her major international breakout occurred during the Fall/Winter 2011 season. That period included landmark moments such as being the first model of East Asian descent to open a Ralph Lauren show, as well as opening and closing for Vivienne Tam in New York. She also secured exclusive runway slots for Dries van Noten and Shiatzy Chen in Paris, alongside an appearance for Dolce & Gabbana in Milan. Following these appearances, she was featured among New York Magazine's Fall 2011 Top 10 Faces and style.com's top ten newcomers.

Over the course of her modeling career, Sui He has walked in ready-to-wear collections for high-profile fashion houses including Chanel, Dior, Hermes, Jean Paul Gaultier, Oscar de la Renta, Missoni, Mugler, Helmut Lang, Hervé Léger, and Y-3. Her haute couture runway experience includes shows for Chanel, Dior, and Jean-Paul Gaultier. Additionally, she became the second Chinese model to participate in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, appearing annually in the event from 2011 through 2018.

In media and commercial work, she achieved a rare milestone in October 2011 by featuring on the cover of W magazine's art issue while still relatively unknown to global audiences. She was also featured on Vogue China's sixth anniversary issue alongside other prominent Chinese models, and appeared on covers for i-D and V. In 2012, she became Shiseido's first Asian global spokesmodel, photographed by Nick Knight. Her advertising work includes campaigns for Brunello Cucinelli, Ralph Lauren, Karl by Karl Lagerfeld, Printemps with Dior, and H&M, including an H&M holiday television commercial.

By 2013, models.com ranked her at number 13 on their Top 50 Models Women List, following a previous placement on their 2011 list. Expanding into acting, she appeared in the 2015 feature film You Are My Sunshine. In her personal life, she announced the birth of her first child, a son with actor William Chan, on October 18, 2025.
