Sonia Sui

Sonia Sui is a Taiwanese actress, television host, and model. She is widely recognized for her starring role as Hsieh An-chen in the 2010 television drama series The Fierce Wife.

Sui was born on October 22, 1980, in Nantou County, Taiwan. At age 13, she moved to Poland to attend junior high school in Poznań. She subsequently relocated to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, where she completed high school and pursued a degree in psychology at the University of Winnipeg. After finishing her studies, she returned to Taipei to begin her career in modeling.

Following her initial work as a model, Sui successfully transitioned into television hosting and acting. She appeared in numerous television series and feature films over the course of her career, gaining notable attention for her roles in well-received productions such as Magicians of Love and The Year of Happiness and Love.

Alongside her acting roles, Sui established herself as a prominent commercial figure, securing many endorsement deals throughout her career. She also served as a co-host for the Golden Horse Awards ceremony in 2008.

In addition to her entertainment industry work, Sui expanded into entrepreneurship by founding her own clothing brand, SuiTangTang, in 2018.

In her personal life, Sui was in a relationship with How Yao between 2004 and 2012. She married Tony Hsieh in 2015. The couple has three children: a son named Max, born on August 30, 2015; a daughter named Lucy, born on February 1, 2017; and a son named Olie, born on December 18, 2018.
