Sara Giraudeau

Sara Giraudeau is a French actress born on 1 August 1985. She is well known for her roles across film, television, and theater.

Giraudeau grew up in a family of actors as the daughter of Anny Duperey and Bernard Giraudeau. She has an older brother named Gaël.

She made her first on-screen appearance at ten years old in the movie Les caprices d'un fleuve, which was directed by her father. In 2005, she made her theater debut appearing in The Vagina Monologues.

Her performance in La Valse des pingouins brought her early theatrical acclaim, earning her both the Molière Award for Best Female Newcomer and the Raimu Award for Best Newcomer in 2007.

On television, Giraudeau gained widespread recognition for her role as Marina Loiseau in the TV series The Bureau, which was broadcast on Canal+ from 2015 to 2020. In film, she won the César Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2018 for her work in Bloody Milk. She later won the Molière Award for Best Actress in 2023 for her performance in Le Syndrome de l'oiseau.

In her personal life, Giraudeau lives with actor Simon Hubert. The couple has three daughters, who were born on May 22, 2011, June 28, 2016, and in March 2022. Her second daughter shares a birthday with her grandmother, Anny Duperey.
