Sapnap

Nicholas, widely recognized by his online alias Sapnap, is an American livestreamer and YouTuber who built his popularity primarily through Minecraft gaming content. He is a key member of the online trio known as the Dream Team alongside creators Dream and GeorgeNotFound, and he helped establish the popular roleplay server known as the Dream SMP.

Born in Texas on March 1, 2001, Nicholas later relocated to Orlando, Florida, in 2021. There, he moved into a shared residence referred to as the Dream Team House with Dream, where they were subsequently joined by GeorgeNotFound the following year.

His digital media career launched when he posted his inaugural YouTube video in October 2019. Around the same time, he formed the Dream Team with Dream and GeorgeNotFound, producing collaborative videos centered around Minecraft speedrunning challenges. He also expanded into broadcasting on Twitch and became the fourth creator to join the Dream SMP server in early 2020.

Over the course of his gaming career, he gained a reputation for his player-versus-player capabilities in Minecraft. He frequently competed in MC Championship tournaments, regularly placing among the top performers, and won the second edition of the Spanish-language Squid Craft Games event in March 2023. Beyond Minecraft, his streaming broadcasts have featured titles such as Valorant, Fortnite, and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, as well as PogChamps chess events. Additionally, he has made appearances in videos produced by MrBeast, notably winning a ten-player game of tag.

In September 2021, he launched a podcast titled Banter alongside fellow creator Karl Jacobs. Featuring MrBeast as its initial guest, the show briefly reached the top spot on Spotify's podcast charts ahead of The Joe Rogan Experience. GeorgeNotFound officially joined the podcast as a co-host in August 2022.

In October 2022, Nicholas expanded into competitive gaming operations by signing with and taking on a co-ownership role at NRG Esports. The following year, in August 2023, he announced a move to stream on the platform Kick. Early in 2025, he was slated to participate in a middleweight charity boxing bout against fellow creator Tubbo at Creator Clash 3, though the event underwent several scheduling changes before being officially canceled.
