Sable

Rena Marlette Lesnar, born Rena Greek on August 8, 1967, in Jacksonville, Florida, is an American retired model, actress, and professional wrestler best known by her ring name Sable. She achieved prominent fame through her tenures in World Wrestling Entertainment, formerly the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). Her wrestling career featured two primary runs with the organization, spanning from 1996 to 1999 and returning from 2003 to 2004.

Growing up in Florida, Greek was active in gymnastics, horseback riding, and softball. After winning her first beauty pageant at the age of twelve, she transitioned into professional modeling in 1990. During her modeling career, she worked on campaigns for major corporate brands including L'Oréal, Pepsi, and Guess?.

She made her professional wrestling debut as Sable at WrestleMania XII in March 1996, managing Hunter Hearst Helmsley before aligning with her real-life husband, Marc Mero. As Mero's manager, Sable rapidly gained solo popularity. Following televised storylines and feuds involving Mero, Luna Vachon, Jacqueline, and Goldust, she became a central figure in the company's Attitude Era. At Survivor Series in November 1998, Sable won the newly reinstated WWF Women's Championship, holding the title for nearly six months until May 1999.

In June 1999, Sable left the WWF and filed a $110 million lawsuit against the company, alleging sexual harassment and unsafe working conditions. Following an out-of-court settlement in August 1999, she expanded her activities in mainstream media. She made guest television appearances on shows such as Pacific Blue, Relic Hunter, and First Wave, appeared on talk shows, and landed a role in the feature film Corky Romano. She also published an autobiography titled Undefeated in 2000, created a comic book titled The 10th Muse, and served as an on-camera executive for the Xcitement Wrestling Federation in late 2001.

Sable returned to WWE on the April 3, 2003, episode of SmackDown!. Her second run included high-profile storyline rivalries with Torrie Wilson and Stephanie McMahon, as well as an on-screen role as Vince McMahon's personal assistant. She also appeared on the cover of Playboy magazine alongside Wilson, leading to an Evening Gown tag team match victory at WrestleMania XX in March 2004.

Following further storylines on SmackDown!, WWE announced on August 10, 2004, that Sable and the company had parted ways on good terms, with Sable citing a desire to spend more time with her family. Between January 2006 and June 2007, she made special guest appearances for New Japan Pro-Wrestling accompanying Brock Lesnar. Across her media career, she also appeared in several official WWE video games, including WWF Attitude and WWE SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain.
