Rosanna Pansino

Rosanna Jeanne Reardon, known professionally as Rosanna Pansino, is an American online content creator, baker, actress, author, entrepreneur, vocalist, television personality, and podcast host. She is best recognized as the host of the baking series Nerdy Nummies, which debuted on YouTube in 2011. Pansino has published cookbooks, released branded kitchenware, and hosted television programs. In 2017, Forbes ranked her first on its list of top food influencers.

Pansino was born on June 8, 1985, in Seattle, Washington, where she was raised alongside her younger sister, Molly Lu. Her heritage includes Italian, German, Croatian, and Irish ancestry, and she was baptized Catholic. During her youth, Pansino managed challenges related to dyslexia and ADHD. After attending West Seattle High School and Pacific Lutheran University, she relocated to Los Angeles to pursue acting. Prior to her online career, she worked as a teacher in China and as a secretary for a Methodist church. Her interest in culinary arts was originally inspired by her father and grandmother.

In 2010, Pansino launched her YouTube channel to become more comfortable in front of the camera. As viewer interest in her baking content grew, she created Nerdy Nummies, adopting her maternal grandmother's maiden name, Pansino. When forced by her acting agent to choose between acting and YouTube, she chose to focus on her channel despite initially making no income. Her channel grew into the most popular culinary channel on YouTube, earning over 14.8 million subscribers and 5.1 billion views. Her work earned her a Shorty Award in 2013, a Diamond Play Button, and multiple Streamy Award nominations.

Pansino has collaborated with numerous digital creators, including iJustine, MatPat, the Merrell Twins, and Rebecca Zamolo. She competed in an online influencer tournament in 2021, though she later publicly criticized MrBeast over workplace safety concerns and raised issues regarding Lunchly products in 2024. As an actress, Pansino appeared on Scream Queens, Parks and Recreation, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, while also lending her voice to series such as Broken Quest and Emo Dad. She later starred in multiple seasons of Escape the Night, guest-starred on Bizaardvark and NCIS: Los Angeles, and hosted HBO Max's Baketopia in 2021.

Pansino's career extends to music, publishing, retail, and broadcasting. A classically trained vocalist, she released her debut single "Perfect Together" in 2015 alongside cover songs. She authored two cookbooks, The Nerdy Nummies Cookbook in 2015 and Baking All Year Round in 2018, with her first book reaching the New York Times best-seller list. Her business ventures include a bakeware line with Wilton in 2017 and a home organization collection with iDesign in 2022. She also served as a guest judge on Nailed It! and launched the Rodiculous Podcast in late 2024.

Pansino resides in Los Angeles, where she films her content. Her father, who appeared in several of her videos, passed away from leukemia in 2019. She was previously in a long-term relationship with commentator Mike Lamond before confirming she was single in 2026. Pansino has shared details regarding various health experiences, including a severe bacterial infection in 2019, breast implant removal, the extraction of a benign growth in 2025, a jaw injury in 2026, and her ongoing treatment for premenstrual dysphoric disorder.
