Rebecca Zamolo

Rebecca Lynn Zamolo is an American content creator and internet personality best known for creating the Game Master Network online franchise. She has established a major presence across multiple digital platforms, including a personal YouTube channel and a TikTok account that accumulated over 18.1 million followers by September 2024.

Born on September 28, 1984, in Arlington, Virginia, Zamolo grew up as the eldest of five children. During her youth, she participated in track running and competed in gymnastics. She eventually relocated to Los Angeles, California, to pursue an acting career.

Her online presence expanded through her individual YouTube channel, where she shares gymnastics, dancing, do-it-yourself projects, and challenge videos. She also collaborates on a joint YouTube channel featuring similar challenge-based media alongside her husband, Matthew Yoakum, who is known online as Matt Slays.

In 2018, Zamolo launched an escape room-themed alternate reality game series and channel initially called The Real Game Master, which later evolved into the Game Master Network. The storyline follows her and her husband as they unravel clues to defeat a central antagonist referred to as the YouTube Hacker. The franchise expanded to include a YouTube musical titled Giant Rewind Musical in Real Life, two books released through HarperCollins, and a mobile endless runner game launched in October 2020 by Zamolo and BoundaryLA. The app introduced an eight-dollar monthly subscription offering access to exclusive videos, Q&As, behind-the-scenes material, and character lore. In October 2021, the couple signed with the talent management company Underscore Talent.

Throughout her career, Zamolo has managed significant personal health challenges. Following severe abdominal pain, bleeding, and the discovery of pre-cancerous signs, she was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, leading to a surgical procedure to remove her colon in 2014. She documented her medical journey in a 40-minute feature film titled Inside/Out: My Battle with IBD, which was released on Vimeo.

Zamolo married Matthew Yoakum on May 17, 2014. Due to complications from her ongoing health struggles and past surgery, the couple turned to in vitro fertilization, during which she experienced a chemical pregnancy and a subsequent miscarriage. They welcomed their first daughter, Zadie, in 2022. The couple later had a son, Zander, born via surrogacy on August 11, 2025.
