Porsha Williams

Porsha Dyanne Williams is an American television personality, singer, actress, and activist. Born on June 22, 1981, in Atlanta, Georgia, she is best known for starring on the reality television series The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Williams joined the show in 2012 for its fifth season, remaining through 2021 before rejoining the cast in 2024. In addition to her work on reality television, she served as a co-host on Dish Nation from 2013 to 2021 and co-hosted Bravo's Chat Room in 2020.

Williams was raised by self-employed entrepreneurs and is the granddaughter of civil rights activist Hosea Williams. She has an older brother and a younger half-sister. She attended Southwest Dekalb High School and pursued a degree in business information technology at American InterContinental University. Inspired by her parents, Williams opened a daycare facility in 2005 and modeled for an Atlanta Dymes calendar that same year. In May 2011, she married football player Kordell Stewart, whom she met in 2009; their wedding was broadcast on WE tv's Platinum Weddings.

Williams gained national public attention after joining The Real Housewives of Atlanta in 2012. Stewart filed for divorce in March 2013, and their separation was finalized late that year. Williams subsequently expanded her career, appearing in Kandi Burruss's stage musical A Mother's Love and releasing her debut single, "Flatline," in March 2014. That same month, she was involved in a physical altercation with co-star Kenya Moore during the taping of the show's sixth season reunion special.

In 2016, Williams competed as a contestant on The New Celebrity Apprentice. She announced her pregnancy in September 2018 and became engaged to entrepreneur Dennis McKinley shortly after. Their daughter's birth in March 2019 was documented on the spin-off Porsha's Having a Baby. After departing The Real Housewives of Atlanta following its thirteenth season in 2021, Williams starred in her own spin-off series, Porsha's Family Matters, and published a memoir titled The Pursuit of Porsha.

Williams has also engaged in activism, focusing on police violence. In July 2020, she was arrested during a protest outside the home of Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron while calling for charges regarding the shooting of Breonna Taylor. She was charged with disorderly conduct, criminal trespass, and intimidating a participant in a legal process before being released the following day.

In March 2023, Williams appeared in the third season of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. She announced her return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta in February 2024, joined the cast of The Traitors in June 2025, and appeared on the fifth season of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip in 2026. In her personal life, Williams married Simon Guobadia in November 2022 and filed for divorce in February 2024. She later went public with partner Patrice "Sway" McKinney in November 2025.
