Pia Lamberg

Pia Lamberg, born Pia Pakarinen on 5 October 1990, is a Finnish actress, fashion model, and beauty pageant titleholder. She is best known for winning the Miss Finland 2011 competition, representing Finland at the Miss Universe 2011 pageant, and establishing a professional career in modeling and television acting in the United States.

Lamberg was born in Juuka, Finland. Her public career began in national pageantry when she competed as one of ten finalists in the Miss Finland 2011 pageant. The competition was broadcast live by MTV3 on 5 March 2011. Lamberg emerged as the winner of the contest, earning the title of Miss Finland 2011 along with the right to represent her country on the international stage.

As the national titleholder, Lamberg represented Finland at the Miss Universe 2011 pageant, which took place in São Paulo, Brazil, and was broadcast live on 12 September 2011. Shortly after the international competition, on 16 September 2011, she officially resigned from her duties as Miss Finland during a live national television broadcast.

Her decision to step down was caused by differences of opinion with Finnartist Oy, the pageant's organizing body, and specifically Eino Makunen. Lamberg expressed that she felt unrepresented and lacked professional support during her tenure. Following her public resignation, Eino Makunen announced that runner-up Sara Sieppi would take over as the new Miss Finland 2011.

Following her pageantry career, Lamberg moved to the United States in the early 2010s to pursue modeling and acting opportunities in Los Angeles. Upon her relocation, she adopted her mother's maiden name, changing her surname from Pakarinen to Lamberg. In 2015, she expanded her professional network by signing a contract with NTA Model Management in Los Angeles.

As a fashion model, Lamberg has worked with numerous well-known commercial brands. Her modeling repertoire includes print and promotional work for brands such as Corona, Nike, Adidas, John Frieda, Ole Henriksen, Mineral Air, and Paula's Choice. In addition, she has appeared in television commercials for corporations including Mercedes-Benz, Booking, Quiznos, and Dave & Buster's.

In addition to modeling, Lamberg has pursued acting roles in American television. In 2013, she was cast in The CW's action-drama series SAF3, portraying a lifeguard named Heather. The series depicted the daily routines and challenges faced by a specialized multi-agency task force comprising Coast Guard officers, firefighters, and lifeguards.

Lamberg has also appeared in various other broadcast television projects and events. She served as a Trophy Model at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards in 2012 and again at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards in 2019, both of which were broadcast on CBS. Her television work further includes guest and small acting roles in series such as Kingdom in 2014 and Tosh.0 in 2018, as well as an appearance as a model on The Queen Latifah Show in 2014.
