Nina Morić

Nina Morić is a Croatian fashion model who later gained citizenship in Italy. She established a career in international fashion modeling, appeared in prominent music videos, and took part in Italian television projects.

Born into an upper-middle-class family in Zagreb on July 22, 1976, Morić initially pursued higher education in law following high school. Her career shifted toward professional modeling after she won the Croatian Elite "Look of the Year" contest in 1996, going on to secure third place in the international competition.

Morić entered the entertainment industry through appearances in music videos, starting with a project for Croatian singer Tony Cetinski in 1995. While working in Los Angeles in 1999, she was cast as the lead feature in the music video for Ricky Martin's popular song "Livin' La Vida Loca." That same year, she launched a debut single as a vocalist, though a full album was not produced following the single's poor performance. She was also chosen by Jim Carrey to co-star in a proposed sequel to the film The Mask, though the project stalled after failed negotiations and Carrey's departure.

Throughout her modeling career, Morić collaborated with numerous major fashion houses and designers, including Versace, Roberto Cavalli, Valentino, Rocco Barocco, and Gai Mattiolo, among others. She also appeared on the covers of various international publications, including Maxim. After working in the United States, she relocated to Italy, expanding her career to include roles as a television correspondent.

Between 2001 and 2007, Morić was married to Fabrizio Corona, the owner of a photography agency. Through her marriage to Corona, she obtained Italian citizenship, and the couple had a son named Carlos in 2002.

In her later public life, Morić became involved in political discourse. In 2017, she aligned herself with the Italian neo-fascist group CasaPound, participating in political rallies focused on immigration policies. She publicly criticized former Yugoslav leader Josip Broz Tito regarding historical actions against Croats and Italians. In 2018, during a proposed broadcast debate on Italian television, she openly refused to engage with political communist opponents. In another instance in 2017, she attracted public attention after misidentifying a photograph of celebrities Samuel L. Jackson and Magic Johnson in Italy as migrants, later stating her online comments related to a social experiment regarding public perceptions of migration.
