Natsuki Hanae

Natsuki Hanae is a voice actor from Japan who is affiliated with the talent agency Across Entertainment. He is widely recognized for voicing prominent characters in modern animated series, including Tanjiro Kamado in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Ken Kaneki in Tokyo Ghoul, and Kōsei Arima in Your Lie in April. Throughout his career, he has lent his voice to numerous prominent roles across television and animated productions.

Hanae began working while he was still attending high school. During this period, he evaluated his future profession and decided to pursue a career in voice acting. His official industry journey commenced when he became a member of Across Entertainment in November 2009.

His inaugural lead voice role came in the animated series Tari Tari. Demonstrating versatility beyond voice performance, Hanae was also credited for composing music used in the fifth and twelfth episodes of the series. Alongside fellow voice actor Ryōta Ōsaka, he co-hosted the radio program ŌHana.

Over the course of his voice acting career, Hanae has portrayed a diverse roster of characters. Among his notable projects are Inaho Kaizuka in Aldnoah.Zero, Takumi Aldini in Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma, Sieg in Fate/Apocrypha, Haruichi Kominato in Ace of Diamond, Korai Hoshiumi in Haikyu!!, Maki Katsuragi in Stars Align, Vanitas in The Case Study of Vanitas, The Duke of Death in The Duke of Death and His Maid, Ken "Okarun" Takakura in Dandadan, and Qifrey in Witch Hat Atelier.

In addition to his traditional voice work, Hanae expanded into digital content creation by launching a YouTube channel focused on Let's Play video content in March 2019. His online presence grew rapidly, reaching over 500,000 subscribers within seven months. By July 23, 2021, he reported via Twitter that the cumulative count of followers across his main social media channels had crossed two million.

Hanae has received industry recognition for his artistic achievements, including the Best Rookie accolade at the 9th Seiyu Awards. On a personal level, he publicly shared in August 2016 that he married a woman who is five years older than him. The couple later welcomed fraternal twin daughters, an addition to his family that he announced in September 2020.
