Miniminter

Simon Edward Minter, known professionally as Miniminter, is a prominent English YouTuber, Twitch streamer, and digital creator best known as a co-founding member of the influential British YouTube group Sidemen. Born on September 7, 1992, in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, Minter built a massive online following through his engaging gaming commentary, real-life vlogs, comedic challenge videos, and creative online collaborations.

Early Life and Content Creation

Minter spent his upbringing in Hertfordshire and attended Berkhamsted School, where he established a close friendship with fellow future influencer JJ Olatunji (KSI). He briefly attended the University of Hull to study media, but chose to drop out in order to devote his full attention to content creation on YouTube. Launching his primary channel in February 2012, Minter initially gained traction by uploading gaming videos focused on the FIFA video game franchise. His fast-paced editing, humorous commentary, and skilled gameplay resonated strongly with viewers, enabling him to rapidly expand his catalog into real-life football challenges, reaction videos, and personal vlogs.

The Sidemen and Commercial Ventures

In October 2013, Minter co-founded the Sidemen alongside six other prominent British creators. Within the group, he plays an integral role in creating weekly long-form videos, large-scale entertainment series, and the biennial Sidemen Charity Match, which sells out major sports venues like Wembley Stadium and raises millions of pounds for charitable causes. In addition to video production, Minter is a co-owner of several commercial ventures established by the group, including Sidemen Clothing, XIX Vodka, the restaurant chain Sides, and the Best Breakfasts cereal line. He also co-founded M7 Education, a non-profit organization, and co-hosts the popular What's Good podcast with long-time friend and collaborator Randolph.

In June 2023, Minter married British singer, streamer, and internet personality Talia Mar following a multi-year relationship.
