Michele Morrone

Michele Morrone is an Italian actor, singer, and model who achieved global fame for his leading role as crime boss Massimo Torricelli in the film 365 Days and its follow-up installments. Alongside his work on screen, he has built a music career and established a business venture in fashion.

Morrone was born on October 3, 1990, in Bitonto, Apulia, as the youngest of four children with three sisters. His parents, a seamstress named Angela and a construction worker named Natale, relocated the family to Melegnano, Lombardy, in search of better work opportunities. His father passed away in 2003 when Morrone was twelve years old. Inspired to pursue acting after watching a Harry Potter movie at eleven, he joined an after-school program in middle school. Although he repeated his initial year of high school following behavioral issues, he went on to study acting at the Teatro Fraschini in Pavia.

His professional acting journey commenced in 2011 with the role of Riccardo in Second Chance, a three-part web series directed by Piergiorgio Seidita that ended after a single season. After appearing in a 2012 music video for the Italian group Makay, he starred in short films such as Il Tempo di una Sigaretta and E la Vita Continua. Morrone subsequently landed roles in various Italian television productions, including Come un Delfino, Che Dio ci Aiuti, Provaci Ancora, Squadra Antimafia, Sirene, Renata Fonte, Il Processo, and Medici. In 2016, he achieved second place in the eleventh season of Ballando con le Stelle, the Italian adaptation of Dancing with the Stars. He later played the lead character Luigi in the 2019 film Bar Giuseppe.

Morrone gained widespread international prominence in 2020 after starring in 365 Days, which debuted in Polish theaters before being streamed globally on Netflix. The success led to a three-year deal to finish the film trilogy, resulting in the 2022 sequels 365 Days: This Day and The Next 365 Days. Later in his career, he played Dante Versano in the 2025 production Another Simple Favor.

In addition to acting, Morrone is a self-taught guitarist who learned the instrument at age twenty-five through online video tutorials. He released his debut album, Dark Room, under the AGORA S.A. label in February 2020. The album included tracks featured on the 365 Days soundtrack, such as "Feel It." He launched a YouTube channel in early 2020, where his most popular music video, "Hard for me," accumulated tens of millions of views.

Outside of entertainment, Morrone introduced a women's beachwear line called AurumRoma in August 2020, designing pieces in collaboration with fashion designer Chiara Pollano. In his personal life, he married Lebanese stylist Rouba Saadeh in 2014 through civil ceremonies in Italy and Lebanon. The couple had two sons, born in 2014 and 2017, before eventually divorcing.
