Born in Toronto, Ontario, on January 11, 1992, De Oliveira is of Brazilian heritage. She began working as a fashion model at fourteen years old while retaining a strong ambition to pursue acting. To hone her performing skills, she studied drama and dance at Rosedale Heights School of the Arts, eventually securing talent representation from an acting agent after entering college.
De Oliveira began her professional career appearing in television movies and direct-to-video productions. Her early feature work includes being cast in 2017 as Emma in Natty Zavitz's romantic drama Acquainted, which later held its premiere at the Whistler Film Festival in December 2018.
In August 2018, De Oliveira secured the role of Becky DeMuth in the Netflix film adaptation of Stephen King and Joe Hill's novella In the Tall Grass, directed by Vincenzo Natali and released in October 2019. During production in Toronto, she met with filmmaker Atom Egoyan, who chose her to star as Veronica in his drama Guest of Honour, which debuted at the Venice Film Festival in September 2019.
De Oliveira joined another Joe Hill project in February 2019 when she was cast as the primary antagonist, Dodge, in the Netflix series Locke & Key. Reunited with director Vincenzo Natali for part of the season, she expressed enthusiasm for taking on a villainous character, drawing artistic inspiration from Angelina Jolie's lead role in Maleficent. The show debuted on Netflix in February 2020.
In her personal life, De Oliveira began a relationship with actor Jonathan Keltz in 2012. The couple announced their engagement in December 2021 while visiting Malibu, California, and they were married in 2024.
