Lauren Young

Lauren Anne Talde Young is a Filipino and American actress, singer, and model. She is widely recognized for her television and film performances in the Philippines, as well as being the younger sister of actress and Miss World 2013 winner Megan Young. Throughout her career, she has performed across major television networks in the country and is currently working as an exclusive artist under GMA Network.

Young was born on November 8, 1993, to Calvin and Victoria Young, as the youngest daughter in her family. For her education, she completed high school at Angelicum College. She later pursued further studies in culinary arts at De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde.

Her career in entertainment began in mid-2006 when she made her acting debut on June 17. She appeared in a cameo role in Bampy, a two-part Komiks episode that served as a Star Magic 14th Anniversary special on ABS-CBN. Following her introduction as one of twenty new talents in Star Magic Batch 13, she appeared opposite Piolo Pascual in Star Magic Presents: All About A Girl, and also performed in Abt Ur Luv later that same year.

In 2007, Young secured a role in the commercially successful feature film One More Chance. She continued expanding her television appearances over the following years, appearing in Your Song Presents: Impossible in 2008 and Your Song Presents: Underage opposite AJ Perez in 2009. By 2010, she played the character Lorraine in the movie Sa 'Yo Lamang alongside Enchong Dee, and took on a role as the younger sister of Rodjun Cruz in the television production Juanita Banana.

Young experienced her breakout role in 2011 when she starred as Via Pereira in ABS-CBN's remake of Mula Sa Puso, taking on a character originally portrayed by Claudine Barretto. This major project established her prominent standing as a leading television actress.

In 2012, Young transferred from ABS-CBN to GMA Network. Her initial project with GMA Network was the drama series Mundo Mo'y Akin, co-starring Alden Richards and Louise delos Reyes, in which she portrayed the anti-hero character Darlene Carbonel. She subsequently starred as the main protagonist Hazel Mendoza in the teen drama suspense-thriller series Dormitoryo, acting alongside Enzo Pineda, Joyce Ching, Ruru Madrid, and Wynwyn Marquez, where her character aimed to uncover the truth behind the death of Maika Benitez.

Beyond her television projects, Young featured in her first mainstream film with GMA Films titled Overtime, co-starring Richard Gutierrez. In 2015, she portrayed the main antagonist Antonia Santibañez in the television series Marimar. The production featured her real-life sister Megan Young in the lead role, marking their second project together following their earlier appearance in Star Magic Presents: Abt Ur Luv Ur Lyf 2.

In her personal life, Young is a cousin of actress Max Collins. She entered a relationship with Robbie Garcia on April 21, 2015. She later began a relationship with Toby Panlilio in 2017, and the couple became engaged on February 5, 2026.
