Kacy Hill

Kacy Anne Hill is an American singer-songwriter, record producer, and former model born on May 1, 1994. She is best known for her guest appearance on Travis Scott's 2015 single "90210", which received a quadruple platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Hill was raised in Phoenix, Arizona, alongside her younger sister, Emma. She attended the Arizona School for the Arts and developed an early interest in music, playing the oboe and saxophone as well as singing in choir. At age 16, she began modeling after being discovered by a wedding photographer. Following high school, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue modeling and became the face of American Apparel, though she later noted she never felt passionate about the field. She is openly bisexual and pansexual.

She entered the music industry after meeting director Stephen Garnett, who directed the video for her 2014 debut self-released single "Experience", produced by Jaylien Wesley. While working as a backup dancer on Kanye West's 2013–2014 The Yeezus Tour, West listened to her song and signed her to his record label, GOOD Music, immediately after a show in Atlantic City. Her debut release garnered media attention, leading to recognitions from outlets such as Dazed, Digital Spy, The BoomBox, GQ, and NY Magazine.

In 2015, Hill released her debut extended play, Bloo, and appeared as a featured artist on Travis Scott's song "90210". After finishing recording her debut studio album in December 2016, she released the lead singles "Hard to Love" and "Like a Woman" in May 2017. Her debut album, Like a Woman, was released on June 30, 2017, receiving critical praise despite failing to chart. She independently released the single "Dinner" in August 2018 and announced her departure from GOOD Music in May 2019.

Hill self-released her second studio album, Is It Selfish If We Talk About Me Again, in July 2020. The critically acclaimed project featured her own co-production alongside collaborators including Jim-E Stack, Francis and the Lights, BJ Burton, and Cashmere Cat, surpassing 15 million streams by January 2022. That same year, she co-wrote the track "Like You Do" for Joji's album Nectar and issued a remix EP. In October 2021, she released her third album, Simple, Sweet, and Smiling, preceded by the singles "Seasons Bloom" and "Easy Going", and embarked on her first headlining tour.

In 2022, Hill supported Coldplay and Conan Gray on tour, and released her first self-produced track, "If I Could Say", on the web3 platform Sound. After supporting Suki Waterhouse in late 2023, she signed with the label Nettwerk. Following a series of advance singles, including "No One" and "Listen to You", Hill released her 10-track fourth studio album, Bug, on May 3, 2024, featuring guest appearances by Nourished by Time and Donna Missal, alongside an American tour.
