Jodie Kidd

Jodie Elizabeth Kidd is an English fashion model and television personality born on 25 September 1978. She is the daughter of former showjumper and businessman Johnny Kidd and Wendy Madeleine. Raised alongside two full siblings and two half-siblings, she was a showjumper during her childhood and attended St Michael's School, Burton Park, in West Sussex.

Kidd's modelling career began at age 16 after being discovered at 15 by photographer Terry O'Neill on a beach in Barbados, who introduced her to agent Laraine Ashton. Early in her career, her tall and slender frame generated significant media discussion regarding body standards and her appearance. Following an eight-month break from modelling, she increased her weight to a dress size 14.

Throughout her modelling career, Kidd worked with high-profile brands including Chanel, Lagerfeld, Ghost, Monsoon, Yves Saint Laurent, Chloé, and Motorola. She appeared on the covers of Elle magazine across multiple countries, including the United States, Australia, Italy, Portugal, Singapore, and Sweden. In 2014, she served as the face of Jaeger's Autumn/Winter campaign alongside Jasmine Guinness and Kirsty Hume.

In addition to fashion, Kidd developed a career in motorsport and television. Driving a Maserati, she notably set a fast celebrity lap time on the television series Top Gear in 2003. In December 2004, she won a Maserati Trofeo Pro-Am event in Bologna, Italy, alongside co-driver Fabio Babini. She has also participated in multiple Gumball 3000 rallies.

Kidd has appeared on numerous television programmes, including competing on Strictly Come Dancing in 2008, where she finished in sixth place. She was a finalist on Celebrity Masterchef in 2014, participated in The Jump in 2015, and co-hosted The Classic Car Show on Channel 5. She also formed part of the ITV4 presenting team for the Isle of Man TT coverage in 2018. Outside of hosting and racing, Kidd and her father produced the musical Yarico, based on the 17th-century operetta Yarico and Inkle.
