Jin Ha

Jin Ha is a South Korean-born American actor who has worked across television and musical theater. He is recognized for his screen performances in series such as Devs, Love Life, and Pachinko, as well as his stage work in productions of Hamilton and Jesus Christ Superstar.

Born in Seoul, South Korea, Ha relocated to the United States when he was eight years old. He attended Choate Rosemary Hall, a preparatory school in Connecticut, before pursuing higher education at Columbia University. Although he initially applied to Columbia's theater program, he elected to study East Asian languages and cultures, earning his degree in 2013. He subsequently completed a master's degree in acting at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.

Ha began his professional acting career in 2016, appearing in a Shakespeare in the Park staging of Troilus and Cressida. He was then cast in the original Chicago company of Hamilton as an ensemble member and understudy for several primary roles. In 2017, he made his Broadway debut in Julie Taymor's revival of M. Butterfly, originating the role of Song Liling alongside Clive Owen. Ha returned to Chicago in 2018 to perform as Aaron Burr in Hamilton, later reprising this part on Broadway when the show reopened in 2021 following a temporary closure caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Alongside his stage performances, Ha appeared as Annas in the 2018 television broadcast Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert, which starred John Legend and Sara Bareilles. In 2020, he expanded into television series with a main role in the FX drama Devs and a recurring appearance opposite Anna Kendrick in the HBO Max series Love Life. His performance in Love Life drew positive note from critics, who highlighted his potential for future projects.

Beginning in 2022, Ha joined the cast of the drama series Pachinko, an adaptation of the novel by Min Jin Lee, in which he portrays the character Solomon Baek.
