Jeane Manson

Jeane Manson, born Jean Ann Manson in Cleveland, Ohio, is an American model, singer, and actress. She gained early recognition in the United States as a model before relocating to Europe in the mid-1970s. After settling in France, she adjusted the spelling of her first name to Jeane to avoid confusion with the French male name Jean, subsequently launching a successful international entertainment career across music, film, and television.

Manson established herself as a prominent pop vocalist in the European music scene during the late 1970s. She enjoyed major commercial success with French-language pop songs, including her break-out hit single Avant de nous dire adieu. In 1979, she represented Luxembourg in the Eurovision Song Contest held in Jerusalem, performing the song J'ai déjà vu ça dans tes yeux. Over the following decades, she built a diverse discography spanning pop, gospel, and traditional chanson, releasing numerous studio albums and performing regular concert tours throughout Europe.

In addition to her recording career, Manson appeared in several television productions, feature films, and stage performances in France. Throughout her multidecade career, she remained active in the public eye through continuous live musical tours, charity work, and collaborative recording projects. She has maintained her musical activity in France, frequently performing retro pop reviews and acoustic concerts.
