Elle Evans

Elle Evans Bellamy, born Lindsey Gayle Evans on December 9, 1989, is an American model and actress based in Los Angeles. Born in Paris, Texas, and raised in Blanchard, Louisiana, she attended Northwood High School and later studied broadcast journalism at Northwestern State University.

Evans first entered the public eye through pageantry, winning Miss Louisiana Teen USA 2008 and placing third in the Miss Teen USA 2008 pageant. Her title was revoked after eleven months following a restaurant incident that resulted in her arrest involving unpaid bill accusations and marijuana found in her purse. Soon after, she posed as the Playboy Playmate of the Month for October 2009, photographed by Stephen Wayda.

Her commercial career began in 2010 with an MMG commercial shot in China, where she appeared styled as Marilyn Monroe. She subsequently gained representation with United Talent Agency, Wilhelmina Models, 3 Arts Entertainment, and the Agency for the Performing Arts. In 2013, she achieved widespread recognition appearing in Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" music video, which gained over 600 million views. That same year, she starred in Beyoncé's music videos for "Haunted" and "Superpower," both directed by Jonas Akerlund.

Evans has worked extensively as a brand representative, becoming one of the primary faces of NYX Cosmetics. Her early commercial projects included Kmart's 2013 "Money Can't Buy Style" campaign, an AXE Apollo Cologne commercial during the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, and print features in Relapse magazine's Photo Annual Issues. In 2013, she also posed nude for photographer Samuel Bayer's "Diptychs & Triptychs" exhibition at the ACE Gallery in Beverly Hills.

In 2014, Evans expanded her television and media appearances with a guest role on Two and a Half Men, the cover of FHM France, and a gold-painted spread for Maxim celebrating the 50th anniversary of Goldfinger. She also starred in David LaChapelle's "Steal the Look" commercial for Wet 'n Wild cosmetics and national advertisements for Mary Kay Cosmetics.

Evans continued acting and modeling in 2015, appearing in the music video for Muse's single "Mercy" and a Carl's Jr. campaign for the Tex Mex Bacon-Thickburger. She also landed feature film roles, playing Amber in Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse and Star in the horror-thriller film The Love Witch.

In her personal life, Evans dated electronic musician deadmau5 until 2012. She began dating Muse frontman Matt Bellamy in February 2015, and they married on August 10, 2019. The couple welcomed a daughter in June 2020 and a son in May 2024, and she served as stepmother to Bellamy's son from a previous relationship. Evans and Bellamy separated in mid-2025, influencing the lyrics for the 2026 Muse album The Wow! Signal.
