Duff Goldman

Jeffrey Adam "Duff" Goldman is an American pastry chef, television personality, author, and businessman. He is best known as the founder of the custom cake bakery Charm City Cakes and for starring in various culinary television programs. His bakery gained widespread national attention for creating elaborate, sculpted cakes using unconventional tools such as blowtorches and power tools.

Goldman attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where he earned a degree in history, and later trained in culinary arts at the Culinary Institute of America. In 2002, he established Charm City Cakes in Baltimore, Maryland. The bakery served as the primary setting for the Food Network reality series Ace of Cakes, which aired from 2006 to 2011 and showcased Goldman and his team of artists creating custom cake designs.

Following the success of Ace of Cakes, Goldman expanded his brand by opening Charm City Cakes West and launching Duff's Cakemix, a do-it-yourself cake-decorating studio chain in California. He has hosted and judged numerous Food Network series, including Kids Baking Championship, Holiday Baking Championship, Spring Baking Championship, Duff Till Dawn, Cake Masters, and Buddy vs. Duff. In addition to his television work, Goldman has authored several cookbooks, including Duff Bakes and the bestseller Super Good Baking for Kids.

Goldman continues to manage his businesses, make regular appearances on culinary competition series, and produce books and media focused on baking and creative cooking.
