BamBam

Kunpimook Bhuwakul, professionally known as BamBam, is a Thai singer and rapper based in South Korea. He is best known as a member of the South Korean boy band Got7. Born and raised in Bangkok around Ram Inthra, he established a high-profile career within the South Korean entertainment industry while maintaining a strong presence in Thai popular culture.

Following the death of his father during his early childhood, BamBam was raised alongside three siblings by his mother. Inspired by his mother's admiration for the performer Rain, he began learning to sing and dance at the age of ten, joining the dance group We Zaa Cool. After winning prizes in local Thai talent competitions, he passed a JYP Entertainment audition at age thirteen and relocated to South Korea as a trainee. He later completed his high school education in January 2020 and was exempted from Thai military service in April 2018 after local recruitment quotas were satisfied.

BamBam made his first televised appearance on the survival show WIN: Who Is Next in September 2013, prior to officially debuting with Got7 in January 2014 with the release of the track Girls Girls Girls. Throughout his time with the group, he participated in variety programs, co-hosted the broadcast M Countdown, produced lyric videos, and collaborated with several Thai artists. In 2020, he composed and produced his first soundtrack song for the Thai feature film The Con-Heartist.

In January 2021, BamBam concluded his contract with JYP Entertainment and subsequently signed with Abyss Company. He debuted as a solo artist in South Korea in June 2021 with the extended play Ribbon. He followed this release with his second extended play, B, in early 2022, along with several collaborative digital singles.

In March 2023, BamBam released his debut full-length studio album, Sour & Sweet, and launched his first world tour, titled Area 52, performing across Asia, Europe, and South America. He released his third extended play, Bamesis, in August 2024. After departing Abyss Company in early 2025, he signed with Halo Corporation and released his first Thai extended play, Hometown, later that year.

Beyond his musical endeavors, BamBam has engaged in fashion design and philanthropic efforts. He created limited-edition apparel collections through partnerships with doubleB and Charm's to fund clean water projects and support low-income children. He has served as a representative for UNICEF Thailand to oppose child abuse and assist flood-affected families. His contributions to fashion earned him endorsements as a muse for YSL Beauty and a house ambassador for Louis Vuitton.

BamBam has maintained widespread commercial impact in Thailand, endorsing major telecom, smartphone, beverage, and automotive brands. In 2022, he was named a global ambassador for the NBA's Golden State Warriors, releasing promotional tracks and merchandise in conjunction with the team.
