Araya A. Hargate

Araya Alberta Hargate, frequently referred to as Araya A. Hargate or by the nickname Chompoo, is a Thai television personality, actress, model, and host. Of mixed heritage with English, Thai, and Lao ancestry, she is recognized as a prominent entertainment figure in Thailand. She completed her higher education at Rangsit University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Hargate's public career began in 1998 when she achieved first place in the Miss Motor Show Contest beauty pageant. Later that same year, at seventeen years old, she entered the acting industry with her debut role in the Channel 7 television drama Pleng Prai. This performance helped launch her television career, leading to widespread national recognition through her appearances in various popular Thai soap operas, known locally as lakorns.

Over the course of her career, Hargate established a prominent presence in acting, high fashion, and modeling. One of her most celebrated professional achievements was her performance in the drama series Doksom Sithong. Alongside her television roles, she gained widespread attention as a fashion personality, being designated as an ambassador for L'Oréal Paris. She also became a brand representative for L’Officiel Thailand at the Shanghai International Film Festival and regularly attended major international events, including global Fashion Weeks and the Cannes Film Festival.

Hargate's modeling and television work earned her several public accolades, including winning the title of FHM Sexiest Actress in Thailand consecutively from 2007 to 2010. Industry publications and commentators frequently acknowledged her status as a high fashion figure throughout her years in the spotlight.

In her personal life, Hargate married her partner of six years, business heir Witsarut "Nott" Rungsisingpipat, on May 6, 2015. On September 6, 2017, she gave birth to twin sons, Saifah Rangsisingpipat and Bhayu Rangsisingpipat, at Bumrungrad Hospital.
