Yuri Ebihara

Yuri Ebihara is a Japanese fashion model and actress recognized for her extensive work in prominent women's print publications and on television. Widely referred to by the nickname Ebi-chan, she gained widespread popularity among both female and male audiences during her rise in the Japanese fashion industry.

Ebihara was born on October 3, 1979. She expanded her artistic background by attending Kyushu Sangyo University, where she completed a degree in fine arts. She grew up alongside a younger twin sister named Eri and a younger brother.

Her modeling career gained significant momentum when she secured an exclusive contract with the fashion magazine CanCam. She established a strong presence in print media and later transitioned into adult fashion publications. In 2009, she became an exclusive model for AneCan, a publication aimed at women in their twenties. She subsequently joined the fashion magazine Domani as an exclusive model, beginning with its July 2015 issue, which targeted women in their thirties.

Alongside her modeling achievements, Ebihara developed an acting career in Japanese television and film. She portrayed the character Kazue Yamabuki in the TV Asahi drama series Tokumei Kakarichō Tadano Hitoshi starting in 2003, later reprising her role for its 2007 television run and the 2008 feature film release Tokumei Kachō Tadano Hitoshi Saigo no Gekijōban.

Her additional television drama credits include appearances in Salary Man Kintarō 4 in 2004, Slow Dance in 2005, Woman's Island: Kanojotachi no Sentaku in 2006, Busu no Hitomi ni Koishiteru in 2006, and Oniyome Nikki Īyu Dana in 2007. In 2014, she played herself in the series Doukyūsei: Hito wa, Sando, Koi o Suru.

In her personal life, Ebihara announced her marriage to Ilmari, a musician from the hip-hop group Rip Slyme, in May 2010. The couple welcomed a son in 2015 and a daughter in 2021.
