Wiz Khalifa

Wiz Khalifa, born Cameron Jibril Thomaz on September 8, 1987, in Minot, North Dakota, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur. Raised primarily in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he began recording music in his youth and built an initial following through independent releases with Rostrum Records, including his 2006 debut studio album Show and Prove.

Khalifa achieved widespread commercial success following the release of his 2010 single Black and Yellow, an homage to Pittsburgh that topped the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. His major-label debut album, Rolling Papers, was released in 2011 and featured multiple hit singles. He earned further global acclaim for the 2015 single See You Again, featuring Charlie Puth, which was recorded for the Furious 7 soundtrack and held the top spot on international music charts for several weeks.

In addition to his recording career, Khalifa founded the record label Taylor Gang Entertainment and launched the cannabis business brand Khalifa Kush. He has expanded his pursuits into various entrepreneurial ventures, media appearances, and ongoing musical projects, maintaining a prominent presence in hip-hop culture.
