Valeria Vázquez

Valeria Vázquez Latorre is a Puerto Rican model, medical laboratory professional, and beauty pageant titleholder. She gained widespread international recognition in December 2018 when she was crowned Miss Supranational 2018, becoming the first woman from Puerto Rico and the Caribbean region to achieve victory in the pageant's history.

Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Vázquez developed an interest in both healthcare and fashion. She pursued academic studies in medical technology at the Medical Sciences Campus of the University of Puerto Rico. While completing her university education, she actively worked in fashion modeling, appearing on runways across the region, including notable engagements at San Juan Moda and Dominican Republic Fashion Week.

Vázquez’s rise in pageantry began in 2018 after she was selected as Miss Supranational Puerto Rico by the Nuestra Belleza Puerto Rico organization. She subsequently represented Puerto Rico at the tenth edition of the Miss Supranational pageant held in Krynica-Zdrój, Poland. Competing alongside delegates from around the world, she advanced through the preliminary and final stages before winning the crown.

During her reign as Miss Supranational, Vázquez traveled internationally to participate in promotional events, attend fashion shows, and represent the organization. She completed her official reign in December 2019 in Poland, where she crowned her successor, Anntonia Porsild of Thailand.

Following her pageantry duties, Vázquez resumed her involvement in modeling and public appearances. She has continued to participate in fashion projects, media engagements, and brand campaigns while maintaining her status as a prominent public figure.
