Toni Garrn

Antonia "Toni" Garrn is a German fashion model and actress who rose to international prominence after signing an exclusive runway contract with Calvin Klein in 2008. Over her career, she has walked for top global fashion houses, appeared on prominent magazine covers, starred in major brand campaigns, and expanded into acting and global philanthropy.

Born on July 7, 1992, in Hamburg, Germany, Garrn grew up in an international family with her parents and an older brother who also became a model. Her family moved to London when she was two, then to Athens where she attended Campion School, before returning to Hamburg at age ten. Trained in classical piano from age six, she speaks native German and English, as well as French. At age 13, she was discovered during the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Hamburg and signed with Women Management.

Garrn debuted on the runway at age 15 for Calvin Klein's Spring/Summer 2008 show in New York, continuing as an exclusive for the brand into the following season. By the 2009 seasons, she walked over 60 runway shows for houses such as Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Dolce & Gabbana, Stella McCartney, and Michael Kors. In February 2010, she temporarily stepped back from fashion week to finish her Abitur exams.

Her editorial work includes covers and spreads for international editions of Vogue, Numéro, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, and GQ. She entered models.com's Top 50 Models Women list in 2009, eventually peaking at 11th place. Garrn has fronted ad campaigns for Prada, Versace, Fendi, Hugo Boss, Armani, and Zara, collaborating with photographers like Karl Lagerfeld, Peter Lindbergh, and Mario Testino. In 2014, she created a custom line of jeans with the German denim label Closed.

Garrn began modeling for Victoria's Secret in 2011, appearing in catalog shoots, major campaign releases, and walking in their fashion shows in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2018. Expanding into acting, she played Reeva Steenkamp in the 2017 Lifetime movie Oscar Pistorius: Blade Runner Killer, and appeared in the series You Are Wanted, the film Head Full of Honey, Álvaro Soler's "La Cintura" music video, and a minor role in Spider-Man: Far from Home.

In 2014, Garrn became an ambassador for Plan International's Because I Am a Girl initiative, and in 2016 she established the Toni Garrn Foundation to support girls' education in Burundi, Ghana, Rwanda, and Uganda. She was named a Gates Foundation Goalkeeper in 2025. In her personal life, Garrn was in a relationship with actor Leonardo DiCaprio from 2013 to 2014. She married actor Alex Pettyfer in October 2020, with whom she welcomed a daughter in July 2021, before announcing their divorce in April 2023.
