Sweet Anita

Sweet Anita is an English video creator and digital broadcaster who gained prominence through her content on Twitch and YouTube. Born in East Anglia on July 28, 1990, she was raised by a single mother before later relocating to South West England. Throughout her teenage years, she experienced symptoms of Tourette syndrome, which restricted her formal schooling to just one year. Although she sought a medical evaluation at age 13, her symptoms were initially dismissed. At age 27, following a week of clinical testing, she received a formal diagnosis of Tourette syndrome, including coprolalia.

Anita launched her Twitch channel in 2018, initially broadcasting gameplay from titles such as Overwatch. Her channel rapidly expanded in audience size after clips showing her verbal tics went viral online. The sudden rise in her profile led to early industry recognition, including being listed by Variety among the most influential figures in video gaming later that year.

As her streaming career progressed, Anita took on prominent hosting roles and expanded her content. In 2019, she received a nomination for Twitch Streamer of the Year at the 11th Shorty Awards. The following year, in December 2020, she served as the presenter for LuudoFest, an online gaming festival organized by VY Esports. In addition to her online broadcasts, she has conducted multiple fundraising events to support the charity organization Tourettes Action.

Outside of streaming, Anita ran a business selling sea glass gathered from local shores. She also dedicates leisure time to animal rehabilitation, having provided care for various animals including rats, chinchillas, and rabbits. She identifies as demisexual.

Anita has utilized her public platform and media interviews to educate the public about Tourette syndrome, explaining how the condition affects everyday social interactions. She has also spoken openly about her experiences with severe online harassment, deepfake content, and long-term stalking, criticizing the existing legal protections for live streamers. In September 2020, she published a YouTube video detailing her personal ordeal alongside similar accounts from other creators to advocate for legislative reforms. In 2025, she shared that both of her parents had passed away within two months of each other.
