CouRage

Jack Dunlop, known online by his pseudonym CouRage (or CouRageJD), is an American content creator, live streamer, and gaming personality. Initially gaining widespread recognition as an esports commentator and host, Dunlop transitioned into full-time content creation, becoming one of the most prominent figures in the online gaming community. He is well known for his high-energy streams, engaging commentary, and strategic involvement in esports business ventures.

Early Life and Esports Casting

Born on April 23, 1994, in New Jersey, Dunlop developed a passion for video games at an early age. He attended Towson University in Maryland, where he earned a degree in Electronic Media and Film. His professional gaming journey began with an internship at Major League Gaming (MLG) after building connections within the Halo community. Demonstrating talent on camera, Dunlop quickly transitioned to hosting and casting, becoming a primary desk host and play-by-play commentator for the Call of Duty World League between 2014 and 2018.

Content Creation and Streaming

In March 2018, Dunlop stepped away from full-time esports casting to focus on streaming and video creation. Joining OpTic Gaming as a creator, he rapidly expanded his fanbase by broadcasting popular battle royale titles like Fortnite, Call of Duty: Warzone, and Apex Legends. His comedic personality and collaborations with high-profile creators such as Ninja, TimTheTatman, SypherPK, and DrLupo established him as a top-tier live streamer. In 2019, Dunlop made a major career transition by signing an exclusive streaming contract with YouTube Gaming.

100 Thieves and Enterprise

Dunlop officially joined 100 Thieves, a premier esports organization and lifestyle brand, as a content creator in May 2019. Recognizing his substantial contributions to the brand's growth and strategy, 100 Thieves announced in April 2021 that Dunlop and fellow creator Valkyrae had officially joined the company's ownership group as co-owners. Beyond streaming, his impact on gaming culture was commemorated in Fortnite, where Epic Games introduced an official CouRage Icon Series in-game cosmetics set.

Personal Life

Dunlop is based in Los Angeles, California, where he works closely with 100 Thieves and collaborates with fellow digital entertainment personalities.
