Soufiane Guerrab

Soufiane Guerrab is a French actor who gained international recognition for portraying the police detective Youssef Guédira in the Netflix crime thriller series Lupin.

Raised in Rosny-sous-Bois, a suburban area east of Paris, Guerrab was born to a Moroccan father and a mother with Italian and German heritage. Prior to embarking on an acting career at eighteen years old, he spent time writing music.

Guerrab secured his first significant acting part in the television show Les Beaux Mecs. He subsequently took on supporting characters in several feature films, including The Measure of a Man, Dheepan, and Two Birds, One Stone.

In 2017, Guerrab was recognized for his performance as Farid in the movie Patients, earning the Rendez-vous Award at the Cabourg Film Festival. Beyond his acting roles, he founded the Tapis Bleu film festival in his hometown of Rosny-sous-Bois in 2018, an event backed by filmmaker and poet Grand Corps Malade.

Beginning in 2021, Guerrab joined the cast of Lupin, playing a detective who pursues the main character, Assane Diop, portrayed by Omar Sy. The following year, he starred in the Akim Isker-directed television series Visions, which debuted at Canneseries on the TF1 network and featured cast members Louane Emera, Jean-Hugues Anglade, and Julien Boisselier.
