Ree Drummond

Anne Marie "Ree" Drummond is an American blogger, author, food writer, and television personality, best known as the creator of The Pioneer Woman brand. Raised in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, she studied journalism and gerontology at the University of Southern California before marrying Ladd Drummond and moving to a working cattle ranch in Osage County, Oklahoma. In 2006, she launched her blog to document her life on the ranch, home cooking, homeschooling, and photography, which quickly gained national popularity.

Drummond expanded her online presence into a multi-platform media brand. Building on her blog's success, she launched a self-titled cooking television series, The Pioneer Woman, on the Food Network in 2011. She has authored multiple best-selling cookbooks, as well as children's books and a memoir. Her brand has also encompassed lifestyle products including cookware, home decor, apparel, and a branded magazine published in partnership with Hearst Magazines.

In addition to her media ventures, Drummond and her family operate business establishments in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, including The Pioneer Woman Mercantile, a combination restaurant, bakery, and retail store opened in 2016, alongside a boutique hotel and other local commercial properties. She continues to host her television program, author books, and expand her food and lifestyle enterprises.
