Rainey Qualley

Rainsford Dubose Qualley is an American actress and singer who is best known for the music she releases under the name Rainsford. Born on March 11, 1989, she is the daughter of actress and model Andie MacDowell and former model, musician, contractor, and rancher Paul Qualley.

Qualley was born in New York City and raised in North Carolina. She has two siblings: an older brother named Justin and a younger sister, actress and model Margaret Qualley. Both Rainey and her sister were formally presented as debutantes at Le Bal des débutantes in Paris.

Qualley began her public career in 2012 when she served as Miss Golden Globe. That same year, she made her film acting debut alongside her mother in Mighty Fine, directed by Debbie Goodstein. She continued acting over the following years, appearing in the film Falcon Song in 2014 and guest-starring in an episode of Mad Men in 2015. She later starred in the 2018 film Perfect, made a cameo appearance as herself in Ocean's 8, and starred in the 2021 film The Shuroo Process, directed by Emrhys Cooper.

In addition to acting, Qualley writes and releases music under the stage name Rainsford. She released her song Too Close in 2016 through Red Light Management, followed by the track Rendezvous in 2017. In 2018, she put out her debut extended play, titled Emotional Support Animal. Her music releases continued with the songs Passionate and Open Open in 2019, as well as 2 Cents and Crying in the Mirror in 2020. She also collaborated with Twin Shadow on two tracks for his fourth studio album.

In her personal life, Qualley gave birth to a daughter with her partner Anthony Wilson on December 10, 2024. Qualley and Wilson later married at The Perch in Twin Peaks, a retreat located in Lake Arrowhead, California, on October 31, 2025.
