Pooja Mor

Pooja Mor is an Indian fashion model who gained international recognition after making her runway debut at Louis Vuitton's Cruise 2016 show in Palm Springs in 2015.

While pursuing her university education, Mor entered the fashion scene by winning the regional finals for the Clean & Clear Ahmedabad Times Fresh Face competition in 2012. Following her studies, she relocated from Gujarat to Delhi to pursue a career in fashion modeling, having informed her parents she was merely taking a vacation. During her early time in Delhi, she competed in the Indian Princess 2013 pageant representing Ahmedabad, though she did not place.

Mor initially worked as a freelance model in Delhi and was featured in an issue of Femina India in late 2013. Her career advanced when she was signed by the Indian agency Anima Creative Management. She achieved broader global visibility after another model shared a photograph of her on Instagram, which caught the attention of Elite Model Management, leading to an international contract in 2015.

Following her debut for Louis Vuitton, Mor walked for major fashion houses during the Spring/Summer 2016 season, including Givenchy in New York, where an unexpected fall on the runway gained widespread online attention. Later in 2016, she permanently moved to New York City to further expand her international career. That same year, she shared the October cover of Vogue India with Jannatul Ferdoush Peya, whom she had previously met during her 2013 pageant appearance.

Throughout her career, Mor has walked the runway for numerous prominent fashion labels, including Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, Roberto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana, Elie Saab, Topshop, Altuzarra, Prabal Gurung, and JW Anderson. Additionally, her editorial portfolio features cover appearances for several international magazines, including Vogue Italia, Vogue Arabia, Numéro China, Harper's Bazaar India, Verve, and Simon.

Mor's early career also included involvement in a public debate in 2014 when she appeared in a controversial photoshoot titled The Wrong Turn. The project received severe public backlash online for its insensitive depiction and perceived glamorization of a infamous Delhi gang rape incident.
