Paula Gonu

Paula González Núñez, known professionally as Paula Gonu, is a Spanish influencer, YouTuber, and Instagrammer. Born on March 31, 1993, she established a prominent presence on social media platforms, becoming recognized as the third most important influencer in Spain between 2018 and 2019.

She lived in Cornellà de Llobregat and gained early work experience as a clerk, public relations worker, and event host. Her brother, Víctor, was adopted and suffered from fetal alcohol syndrome. Gonu pursued her higher education at Pompeu Fabra University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Advertising.

Gonu's career in social media began during a trip to Formentera in 2016, when she made her Instagram account public. Through this account, she shared photos and videos featuring her partner at the time, Alex Chiner, though the couple later broke up in 2019.

Her online popularity saw a significant increase in October 2016, growing from 200,000 to one million followers on Instagram alongside 500,000 subscribers on YouTube. This growth led to commercial sponsorships with brands including Garnier and Rimmel London. Following her rise in social media popularity, she established her residence in Barcelona.

In addition to her content creation, Gonu authored the book De (casi) todo se aprende, which was published in 2018. She also expanded her business ventures by launching an online shop to sell T-shirts and sweaters.

Gonu has also appeared on Spanish television. In 2020, she appeared on the TV3 program Alguna pregunta més?, and in 2024, she participated in the first edition of Bake Off: Famosos al horno.
