Noot Seear

Renata "Noot" Seear is a Canadian fashion model and actress born on October 5, 1983. She is best known for her extensive international modeling career, which includes high-profile advertising campaigns and runway appearances, as well as her supporting roles in film and television.

Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Seear entered the modeling industry at the age of 14 after being spotted by an agency talent scout at a local shopping center. She began taking on professional modeling engagements in her hometown in 1996. To expand her professional opportunities, she relocated to New York City the following year.

Seear made her official runway debut in September 1998 during New York Fashion Week, modeling collections for major fashion houses such as Calvin Klein, Daryl K, and Ralph Lauren. Following this debut, she built a prominent career working with numerous top-tier designers. Over the years, she has walked in fashion shows for global brands including Chanel, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Lanvin, Givenchy, Karl Lagerfeld, and Alexander Wang.

Throughout her career, Seear has been featured in major promotional campaigns for brands like Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Giorgio Armani, Rolex, and Pantene Pro-V. In a notable 1998 Yves Saint Laurent campaign for Rive Gauche, she was styled to resemble the Mona Lisa. She has also served as the official face for major promotional campaigns for fragrances by Calvin Klein and Vera Wang.

In addition to advertising campaigns, Seear has appeared on the covers of international publications, including Vogue Nippon, Elle Germany, and Italian magazines such as Amica and D. She has worked with distinguished photographers throughout her modeling career, including Patrick Demarchelier, Mario Sorrenti, and Paolo Roversi.

Beyond modeling, Seear expanded her work into acting. She appeared as the character Heidi in the feature film The Twilight Saga: New Moon, the second installment of the movie series. Her acting credits also include a guest appearance in an episode during the second season of the television series House of Lies.
