Nick Eh 30

Nicholas Amyoony, known professionally by his online moniker Nick Eh 30, is a Canadian live streamer, video creator, and professional gamer born on March 14, 1995. He is best recognized for his gaming content—most notably centered around Fortnite Battle Royale—and for maintaining a reputation for family-friendly broadcasts.

Raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Amyoony is of Lebanese Canadian descent. He developed an early passion for gaming, particularly enjoying The Last of Us. While attending Prince Andrew High School in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, he maintained high grades while participating in football, practicing taekwondo, and taking guitar lessons. Intending to become a doctor, he eventually relinquished his extracurricular activities and social life to focus on his academic work, using his PlayStation 3 during study breaks. His pseudonym Nick Eh 30 derives from his given name, the first letter of his surname styled as a nod to the Canadian stereotype, and his high school football jersey number.

Amyoony established the Nick Eh 30 YouTube channel in December 2014, having previously operated a different channel. He initially uploaded gameplay videos featuring titles such as The Last of Us, Uncharted 4, and Resident Evil 7. His father, who later assumed the role of his manager, permitted him one year to establish his gaming endeavors. In March 2016, Amyoony received a shout-out from online creator PewDiePie. While enrolled in a Bachelor of Science program at Dalhousie University, Amyoony experienced increasing online success and subsequently left his studies to pursue a full-time career in content creation.

Amyoony began professional livestreaming in 2017 and started broadcasting Fortnite in December of that year. Following his rising popularity, he signed representation with Creative Artists Agency in 2018 alongside Facebook gaming creator StoneMountain64. In September 2019, Amyoony made a platform switch, moving his main livestreams from YouTube to Twitch while continuing to publish video uploads on YouTube.

Over his career, Amyoony has earned several notable industry honors and brand collaborations. He was included in the 2020 Forbes 30 Under 30 list in the Games category. In November 2020, he signed with esports organization Luminosity Gaming at the Enthusiast Gaming Live Expo, remaining with the group until August 2022. In November 2020, he partnered with developer Epic Games to organize his own competitive tournament, the Nick Eh 30 Cup. He later hosted a $50,000 Fortnite Twitch Rivals event in August 2023. Expanding into animated media, Amyoony partnered with Mainframe Studios in 2023 to produce Endurathon, a series created using Unreal Engine 5. Epic Games released an in-game purchasable Fortnite character outfit based on Amyoony on June 11, 2024.

Amyoony resides in Halifax with his parents, who actively assist him with his digital career alongside his brother. Unlike many internet creators, Amyoony frequently incorporates his parents into his online content, such as a 2018 video in which he celebrated receiving his 1 million subscriber YouTube Play Button alongside them.
