Molly Sims

Molly Sims is an American fashion model and actress born on May 25, 1973, to Jim and Dottie Sims. Raised in Mayfield and Murray, Kentucky, alongside her older brother, she graduated from Murray High School in 1991. She subsequently enrolled at Vanderbilt University to study political science, where she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. In 1993, at the age of 19, Sims left the university to pursue a career in modeling.

After submitting her photos to agencies, Sims signed with Next Models Management in New York City. Her modeling career expanded as she appeared on the covers of Vogue Spain in April 1997 and Vogue Paris in September 1999. In 2001, she became an official spokesmodel for Old Navy, featuring in advertisements using the tagline "You gotta get this look!", and walked in the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. The following year, she landed a multiyear contract with CoverGirl. She appeared in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004, and 2006, notably wearing a $30 million diamond bikini designed by Susan Rosen in the 2006 edition.

Throughout her modeling career, Sims appeared in campaigns for major fashion brands, including Jimmy Choo, Escada, Giorgio Armani, Michael Kors, and Chanel. She walked the runway for designers such as Veronique Leroy, Jerome L'Huillier, Givenchy, Ann Demeulemeester, and Emanuel Ungaro. Additionally, she graced the covers of numerous magazines, including Elle, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Allure, Shape, Self, Ocean Drive, Lucky, and Vanidades.

Sims also expanded into business and hosting roles. In 2004, she launched Grayce by Molly Sims, a jewelry collection consisting of necklaces, earrings, rings, and bracelets sold through retailers such as HSN, Henri Bendel, Scoop, Ron Herman, and Matches London. She also founded the skincare line YSE Beauty following her personal experiences with aging, melasma, and cystic acne. Her hosting credits include MTV's House of Style from 2000 to 2002 and Lifetime's Project Accessory in 2011, and she hosts the podcast Lipstick On the Rim.

Sims transitioned into acting with her role as Delinda Deline on the NBC comedy-drama series Las Vegas, which ran from 2003 to 2008. Her film credits include roles in The Benchwarmers (2006), Yes Man (2008), The Pink Panther 2 (2009), Fired Up! (2009), and The Wrong Missy (2020). She made guest television appearances on series such as Crossing Jordan, The Twilight Zone, Andy Richter Controls the Universe, Royal Pains, Wedding Band, and Men at Work, and served as a contributor on the ABC talk show The View during the 2015–2016 season.

Sims married film producer Scott Stuber in Napa Valley on September 24, 2011, and the couple has three children. She has participated in various philanthropic efforts, serving as a global ambassador for Population Services International's Five & Alive program and as an ambassador for Operation Smile. After winning $125,000 for ovarian cancer research on a special edition of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, she also hosted a charity event benefiting the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance.
