Maryse Mizanin

Maryse Mizanin (née Ouellet) is a Canadian media personality, model, actress, and retired professional wrestler. She is widely known for her career in WWE, where she performed mononymously as Maryse.

Born in Montreal, Quebec, Mizanin grew up in Edmundston, New Brunswick. Before entering professional wrestling, she pursued modeling, winning the Miss Hawaiian Tropic Canada pageant in 2003 and placing second at the International Finals of Miss Hawaiian Tropic in 2004. She was also featured on the cover of Playboy's 2007 Girls of Canada calendar.

In mid-2006, Mizanin participated in the WWE Diva Search competition, reaching the final eight. Although eliminated, she was signed to a WWE developmental contract in August 2006 and trained in Ohio Valley Wrestling and Florida Championship Wrestling. She began appearing regularly on the SmackDown brand in 2008. Later that year, she won her first WWE Divas Championship, holding the title for 216 days.

After being drafted to the Raw brand in 2009, Mizanin won the Divas Championship a second time in 2010, becoming the first woman to hold the title more than once. During her initial tenure with the company, she also served as a manager for Ted DiBiase and co-hosted NXT before being released from her contract in 2011. Following her departure, she performed live commentary for Family Wrestling Entertainment in 2012.

Mizanin returned to WWE in April 2016 as the on-screen manager and power-couple partner of her husband, The Miz. That same year, she joined the cast of the reality television series Total Divas. In 2018, she starred in and executive produced the spin-off reality series Miz & Mrs. alongside her husband.
