Lindsay Davis

Lindsay Davis is an American model and beauty queen born on November 6, 1985. She has achieved international exposure through publications in magazines such as FHM and Ralph. Alongside her modeling career, she is widely recognized for her advocacy work, particularly her efforts in championing the Ohio legislative bill known as "Lindsay's Law."

Prior to her career in modeling and activism, Davis was a classically trained ballerina. She pursued ballet until the age of 17, when she was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, a genetic heart condition that led her to shift her focus away from dance.

Davis later entered the pageant circuit, earning significant recognition in her home state. She was crowned Miss Ohio U.S. International in 2010 and Miss Ohio United States in 2011. Additionally, she was a finalist in the Miss Ohio USA pageant in both 2010 and 2011.

Leveraging her personal experience with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, Davis became an active advocate for cardiac health. She supports several cardiac-related organizations, including the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Association (HCMA), the American Heart Association, and an organization that provides year-round activities for children with heart disease. In 2010, she founded Hearts-4-Hearts, a charity designed to offer peer support to young people affected by heart conditions. Her charitable work also extends to volunteering at local children's hospitals and supporting organizations focused on Parkinson's disease, juvenile diabetes, and animal protection.

In 2013, Davis expanded her advocacy efforts into legal and legislative domains. She studied fashion modeling law at Fordham University Law School with the goal of improving working standards and securing fair rights for models within the fashion industry.

During the same period, Davis collaborated with Senator Cliff Hite and The Simons Fund Foundation to raise awareness and advocate for the passage of Ohio Bill SB252, commonly referred to as "Lindsay's Law." The legislation was developed to protect student athletes from sudden cardiac arrest.
